A kurdish worker Killed and Another kurdish worker badly injured by the Iranian Government forces


According to rojhalat The Kurdish observer 2 Kurdish Workers came under fire of the iranian government forces in Northern city of Qazvin.According to inside news agencies they were shot for unknown reasons.
in this incident, Mr. Shapur was killed  and Mr.Kurush was injured badly by the Iranian government forces. they were both from kurdish City of Sine (senna)(sanandaj).
Sadlymany kurds get murdered by the Iranian government yearly for unknown reasons.

2 Kurdish brothers sentenced to death by the Iranian Government in danger of Execution


According to Kurdish Observer, death sentence was given to 2 Kurdish brothers by the Iranian Government.
Brothers, Mr. Luqman Muradi and Zaniyar Muradi were arrested on October 17th, 2009 in charges of being members of Kurdish political parties and working against god and were jailed and sentenced to death on December 22nd, 2010 by the Iranian government.
They appealed the ruling and their appeal was rejected. They are being held in Rajai sharhr prison in Karaj.
the Muradi brothers are in high danger of execution by the Iranian government 

3 Kurdish Brothers were sentenced to death and prison terms by the Iranian Government



The Kurdish observer stated that 3 Kurdish Brothers were sentenced to death and long prison terms by the Iranian government.
These 3 brothers by the names of:
                                    Ali Afshari
                                    Habib Afshari
                                    Jafer Afshari
That are from Kurdish city of Mahabad were convicted of working with Kurdish political parties. Mr. Ali Afshari and Jafer Afshari were sentenced to death and Mr.  Habib Afshari was sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Iranian government on January 14th.
They had been under intensive torture and mistreatment in almost all of their imprisonment since their capture, the prisoners’ family stated.

15 Kurdish activists were arrested in Kurdish city of Urfa by the Turkish Government


According to Kurdish observer, Turkish government continues on their path to arresting kurdish activists at a high rate.
The reports shows that yesterday 15 Kurds were arrested in kurdish city of Urfa , among them President of Health workers union Mr. Ismet Qaradaghi.
Turkish Government called these raids Kurdish community union raids. the rate of Kurds being arrested by the Turkish government is on the rise .


2 Kurdish Political activists being sentenced to combined 9 years jail time in East Kurdistan by the Iranian Government


According to The Kurdish Observer, Kurdish Political activist Mr.yousef Rehmani from Kurdish city of Bokan that was arrested in 2008 by the Iranian government in excuse of helping with Kurdish Political parties was sentenced to 5 years in prison in Urmiye central prison.

Also, in Kurdish City of Saqez in east Kurdistan, another Kurdish Political activist by the name of Behroz Rishe Saheb that was arrested several months ago was sentenced to 4 years in Prison by the Iranian Government.
Iranian Government continues on arresting and executing political, human right and social activist in Iran at a high rate.

Crackdowns on KESK and BDP homes and Offices by the Turkish Government


Accoring to bianet.org The office of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Public Employees (KESK) union employee İsmet Aslan was searched in the scope of a KCK operation (Union of Kurdistan Communities) on Friday (13 January). Aslan was taken into police custody. Provincial and district offices of the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) were raided in several provinces.
Among the people taken into custody were BDP Central Steering Board (MYK) member Tuncer Bakırhan, former MP and BDP Deputy Co-Chair Fatma Kurtulan, Dicle News Agency (DİHA) Ankara reporter Murat Çiftçi and the district heads of the BDP in Esenyurt, Zeytinburnu and Bağcılar (Istanbul districts).
İrfan Uçar, press advisor of BDP Diyarbakır Mayor Osman Baydemir, told bianet that the BDP local government office was raided. Other crackdowns were carried out in several places in the cities of Ağrı, Mersin, Adana, Ankara, Mersin, Batman, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır,Van and Siirt. In Istanbul, the BDP Provincial Office was searched.
Police raids were made on the BDP Diyarbakır Provincial Office, the Headquarters of the Kurdish Language Research and Development Association (KURDİ-DER), the BDP Ecology and the Local Government Office, the Kayapınar Cegerxwin Culture Youth Centre, buildings of the Dicle Fırat Culture Association, the Education and Science Workers' Union (Eğitim-Sen) and the Diyarbakır Branch of the Human Rights Foundation (İHD).
KESK President Lami Özgen said that they did not accept the planned search on the headquarters due to the lack of a search order. Urfa Eğitim-Sen Branch Manager Murat Oruç and Gülsüm Çelik for the Diyarbakır Branch were taken into police custody.
Diyarbkır Mayor Baydemir wrote on twitter, "The Aram Tigram Conservatory as part of our municipality was raided. Our headquarters with stringed musical instruments and other criminal instruments like drums, violins or pianos is being searched".
About 123 addresses were searched. At least 32 people were taken into police custody. It was reported that decisions for police custody were released about 45 people. BDP Party Assembly member Emrullah Bingöl was also taken into custody.
The home of Damla Çimen, Deputy Chair of the Revolutionary Socialist Workers' Party (DSİP), was raided by the police at 5.00 am on Friday morning. Her computer was confiscated.
The members of the BDP Istanbul Provincial Faction taken into custody within the operation were reported as follows: Neslihan Güner, member of the BDP Istanbul Women Assembly; Istanbul Provincial Executives Nazire Güreş and Doğan Çiftci; Zeytinburnu District Chair Nezir Erdemci; Esenyurt District Co-Chairs İlyas Demir and Şafak Özanlı; Pendik District Deputy Chair Celal Gürger; Bağcılar District Chair Zekiye İlbasan, former BDP provincial executive Celal Alpan and party employee Ramazan Yıldız.
During the crackdown on the İHD Diyarbakır Branch hard discs and files containing archives and applications of families were seized.
The Association of Solidarity with Families of Detainees and Convicts (TUHAD-DER) was searched as well. Lists with political detainees and convicts and hard discs were confiscated.
During the raid on the Eğitim-Sen Diyarbakır Branch documents and hard discs were seized as well as laptops, archives and books published by the organization. Moreover, the Municipal and Local Authority Trade Union (Tüm Bel-Sen) Diyarbakır Branch was searched and certain documents were seized.


The home of BDP Diyarbakır MP Leyla Zana in Ankara was searched. bianet talked to BDP Faction Chair Pervin Buldan who was at Zana's apartment.
Buldan reported that Zana was not at home and the police went in with the help of a locksmith. Apparently  ten police officers searched the home. The police took a record and some documents were confiscated.
Buldan explained that Zana was in Diyarbakır and that the search was carried out in detail.
The police announced that there was no search warrant about Zana but since this address was not her registered place of residence the search was continued.
It was declared that the house was the official residence of Cahit Yoldaş, the uncle of Leyla Zana. However, the police confiscated Zana's personal documents and the iPad given to her in parliament.
Buldan called Assembly President Cemil Çiçek. Çiçek called her back later on and said that the search was justified because Zana was not registered at the address of the raided house.

Vahid Asghri, Kurdish Web Master & Blogger sentenced to death by the Iranian government court



According to HRANA News Agency Vahid Asghri one month after his trial sentence to death by the iranian government court.

According to a report by Human Rights Watch in Kurdistan, Vahid Asghri, 25, was arrested on October 4, 2008 by plain clothes agents of Iranian government .

In February 2009, IRGC Cyber Police announced that Vahid Asghri and a few other web masters of Internet sites opposing Islam had been arrested.

Vahid Asghri and other accused individuals were physically and psychologically tortured while in custody and were forced to appear in televised confessions.  These sessions were broadcast in Iran prior to their trials.

Mass Execution of 22 Prisoners in Evin priosn by the Iranian Government


According to HRANA News Agency On Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 22 prisoners were hanged in Evin prison by the iranian government on drug related charges.  These prisoners were transferred from Ghazal Hesar Prison on Saturday and Sunday and locked up in solitary confinement in Evin Prison in preparation for the executions.

According to a report published on the website of Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran,the names of those whom were hanged are as followed:
  1. Gholam Reza Farogh Zehe – 28 years old, an Afghani citizen
  2. Ali Reza Javid Shirazi – 38 years old, in prison for nearly 20 months in Ghazal Hesar
  3. Aziz Shekari – 24 years old, in prison for nearly 20 months in Ghazal Hesar, sentenced to death for possessing 20 grams of narcotics.
  4. Mohsen Kakavand – 32 years old, in prison for nearly 2 years in Ghazal Hesar
  5. Hassan Panahi – 45 years old, in prison for 2 years
  6. Mahmoud Kermani
  7. Yadollah Mohammadi – 40 years old, in prison for nearly 3 years
  8. Abdolraof Brohi – 40 years old, in prison for 3 years
  9. Asghar Shiek Sotodeh
  10. Abdolhamid Dahmordeh
  11. Saeed Reza Zadeh – 26 years old, in prison for nearly 15 months
  12. Mohammad Darvishi – 27 years old, in prison for 3 years

According to this report, the families of those executed went to Evin Prison today in order to pick up their loved ones’ bodies but were referred to Kahrizak morgue where the corpses are being kept.
