ROME, Italy, -- A conference with regards to democracy, human rights violation and the Kurdish question in Iran was held in Rome in Italian parliament on 30th June.
A number of Italian Senators, Deputy and political activists present in the conference room displayed their grieve concerns over the violation of the Human Rights in Iran, particularly in the Kurdish regions.
Islamic regime is systematically executing Kurdish political and Human Rights activists aiming to spread fear and terrorize the society and oblige them through use of force and terror to accept its Islamic ideological policies.
Kurds, Arab and Baloch national minorities also were present at the conference which they produced highly valuable information about the Islamic regime’s policies against the national, religious and linguistic minorities in Iran.
Since the foundation of the Islamic regime in 1979 Kurds have been subjected to the harshest punishments such as receiving death penalty or life imprisonment. Despite the existence of natural resources in the region, Kurdish region left economically undeveloped in order to enforce the people to evict their cities and towns and move to other parts of the country, Soran Khedri representative of PJAK said.
Mr Khedri expressed its concern over the death rate in Kurdish region, which is dramatically increasing especially after the rigid election in 2009. He said since 2010 Iranian regime hanged 8 Kurdish human rights and political activists whom were members of Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK), including one Women Shireen Alam Hoye have been executed.
He also highlighted the current situation of the Kurdish political prisoners in Iranian prisons and revolutionary guards detention centres, where the prisoners are constantly subjected to the most horrendous form of torture and inhuman degrading treatment. He continued by stating that since last 3 years 400 political and human rights activists have been arrested by the Iranian authorities.
The conference was organized by Europa Levante association that has been activity involved with the promotion and protection of Human Rights in Kurdistan.
Italian politicians from all sides, right and left attended the conference, and the most valuable messages which they delivered was the great concern over the Human Rights violation Iran, especially in the Kurdish areas were people are subject to mock execution, arbitrary arrest and the worse kind of torture and inhuman degrading treatment.
The Italian politicians critics the way the Europe and West approaches Iran, and they unanimously stated that it is of great important if EU and USA turn its view on Human Rights violation rather than just focusing on nuclear weapon: said Senator Pietro Marcenaro, president of human rights commission of Senates.
In addition to that, the politicians expressed their concern over the role of the media in EU with regards to the Iranian situation, as the media is reluctant to reflect the conferences and seminars which are held on human rights violations in Iran.
‘it is important to take a new approach to Kurdish question in Iran, we should do it collectively, and letting our peoples, Italian people to know about the situations, and also its important to encourage our governmental and NGO institutions to organize and held more seminars and conference with regards to the Kurdish situation in Iran: said Carlo Ciccioli, president of the Free Iran Committee. And the same suggestions and speech were made by Alberto La Volpe a Journalist and Writer.
Sergio D Elia the president of the association of (Nessuno Tocchi Caino) and Fabia Amato chief of foreign office of Rifondazione Comunista Party in Italy, and On Alessandro Forlani (UDC Party) delivered a common message against the torture and execution in Iran. They stated that the European States shall take new measure in dealing with Iran, and new policies shall be implemented by the EU in order to stop Islamic regime from violating further Human Rights in Iran especially in the Kurdish areas.
In the conference the representative of Arab struggle movement for the Liberation of Al-Ahwaz Mr Yaqoub Hor Shmaie Neisi expressed its concern about the discriminatory policies implemented by the Islamic regime in Al-Ahwaz. He continued by stating that despite that the region is the richest in oil and gas resources 40% of the Arabs are unemployed and the region kept economically undeveloped.
Mr Abdul Naser Bolodai spoke about the social and economic, linguistic discrimination against the Baloch population. Also Mr Hadi Sofizadeh (Kurdish human right activist) spoke about the torture, execution and the Islamic republic intentions to deprive the Kurdish regions from economic progress and development.
