Iranian government has been continuing an increasing the number of executions of people in entire Iran. Iranian government is in the second place right after china for the highest execution rates in the world. these numbers are worrying the international human right agencies.
Iranian government tries to give drug trafficking as one of the reasons for executing innocent and political and social activists in Iran.
since the start of 2011 over 566 people have been executed by the Iranian government . These numbers are not including all the secret executions that have been taking place by the Iranian government.
