124,000 people arrested in North Kurdistan and Turkey by the Turkish government

Turkish Prime Minster Tayib Erdogan does every thing to gain more votes for the coming election. It’s very interesting that he has repeatedly praised himself for advocating freedom and democracy.
Erdogan said on the election campaign in his speech that his government brought a radical democracy to the society.
But Erdogan never mentioned anything in regard to the killing of Kurdish children, torturing of the Kurdish mothers and the imprisonment of thousands of Kurds.
Turkish department of justice statistics declared to the public and mentioned that Erdogan wants to mislead the people.
In relation to department of justice, the number of prisoners in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan is significantly high, prisons are full of detainees and there is no room for more prisoners.
Until 2001, the number of prisoners was 55 thousands. Only under AK Party’s government 67 thousand prisoners added to the toll and it reached to 122 thousands prisoners.
Recently AK Party carries out some operations against political activists, mostly the Kurds including Members of Parliament and mayors in Kurdistan.
Including the latest arrests carried out in Kurdistan, the number of prisoners exceed to 124 thousands. There have been 2000 Kurdish children and 69 elderly of 80 years old age are imprisoned.
