Ihsan Gulek Kurdish Mayor was arrested in Kurdish city of Wan by Turkish government

WAN, North Kurdistan, -- Turkish prime minster paid a visit to the Kurdish city of Wan but the Kurds refused to attend his public speech. Having met with such inhospitalities of Kurds, the state reacted revengefully.
Ihsan Gulek the mayor of Albak who has already been fired from work, was arrested in Wan. After being investigated, Mr Gulek was taken to one of Wan’s detentions.
Mr. Gulek was accused of attending a funeral of Kurdish guerrillas in 2006 and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonments.
