3 Kurdish political prisoners on hunger strike

KARAJ, Iran, -- Three Kurdish political prisoner held in Rajayshahir prison in Karaj, have been on a hunger strike for the last week protesting against the ill-treatment and the prison’s appalling condition, report said today.
Enwer Xezri, Kamran Shexi and Seyd Ibrahim Seydi who had previously been held in compartment number 350 of Ewin Detention House in Tehran, were transferred to Karaj Rajayshahir prison.
Sines they had arrived, these three prisoners of consciences have been held in a quarantine for the last 50 days, where they are deprived of the very basic facilities.
People who are transferred to Rajayshahir prison are normally held on quarantine only for one day. These three however have been held there for the last 50 days.
To protest against being held in such a terrible condition they had staged a hunger strike last week.
