Kurdish political prisoner Enwer Husen Penahi in Critical condition

SINE, East Kurdistan, -- Kurdish political prisoner Enwer Husen Penahi who has been held in Sine detention is reported to be at a critical condition. He is suffering from lung bleeding and at urgent need of surgery, human right committee reported.
Mr Penahi was arrested by the Iranian security forces on 6th November 2009. After 6 months of being held in a suspended status, he was tried in Revolutionary Court and was sentenced to death.
After a range of serious efforts made by various institutions, his charge was commuted to 16 years of imprisonments.
The relative of Mr Panahi said that Qurwe’s Intelligent Service is trying to fabricate another stories to open a new case against him.
