Iran secretly hangs 15 people in Torbate Jaam Prison


freedomessenger, On Monday, September 12, at least 15 prisoners with drug crimes were secretly hanged in Torbate Jaam Prison. According to reports, these executions which are the third series of mass secret executions from the beginning of the [Persian} year in this prison have not been confirmed by the Khorasan Razavi Provincial Judiciary. But local sources in the town of Torbate Jaam and sources from villages in the vicinity have said that these executions were to be carried out on the Sunni Eid Fetr but were postponed after the prisoners’ families were informed. They were secretly carried out on Monday in the town prison. Two people identified by their last names as Ibrahimi and Kaboudani and another person identified as Ali Sharifi have been identified by local sources as being among those executed.
