URMIYE, -- While the Iranian regime is striking an accord with Turkey to fight the Kurds, at the same time it sentences the Kurdish activists to deaths. Two Kurdish political prisoners are given death sentences, report said today.
The Political and Civil Prisoners’ Campaign stated that Kurdish political activists Ali Afshari and Mihemed Abdullahi held in Urmiye Prison are sentenced to death.
They were convicted of acting against the state’s security and ‘being the God’s enemy’.
According to the similar source, Ali Afshari was arrested in Mahabad city on 14th December 2010. He is reported to have been arrested while he was wounded.
Mihemed Abdullahi was arrested last year by Intelligent Service of Bokan city.
