Iranian Government is preparing for new attacks against Kurds
SERDESHT, -- The Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a series of offensives on the Defence Regions of Medya starting on 16th July. From various points it sought to make incursion into Qendil Mountains.
The intention behind these offensives was to take hold of Qendil Mountain from where they could destabilise the entire region.
The Iranian Forces had underestimated the power of the Kurdish guerrillas of HRK (East Kurdistan Forces) and thus they were ludicrously defeated and forced to retreat from wherever they sought to attack. Their number of suffering is estimated more than 300 Revolution Guards so far.
It is reported that following this defeat, ten of Iranian troops have deserted their ranks, and tens of the local collaborators who has taken arms against the Kurdish guerrillas, dropped their arms and refuse to fight in the Iranian front anymore.
After the defeat, the Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) put a halt on their invasions, and started to gather more troops preparing for new waves of operations.
According to some of the regional sources the IRGC is trying to make another incursion to Qendil Mountains from the district of Mirawa of Serdesht city. To this end they have positioned a considerable numbers of heavy weaponries including tank, missile-laucnher, katuysha, and helicopters on Mirawa district. They are now trying to send these forces across the border into the areas of Qendil Mountains.
The IRGC has also despatched new forces to the neighbouring of Ayshe Valley. In the meantime they have demanded numbers of their local collaborators and the Kurdish mercenaries to appear on state TV making anti-PJAK propagandas. Their demands have been rejected by the collaborators.
