Iranian military kills 3 young Kurdish workers

A young man from Kamyaran was killed by security forces after they suspected him of carrying smuggled goods.
On Saturday, August 6, forces of the Kermanshah Anti-Smuggled Goods Department who were stationed in the West Islam Abad Road going to Kermanshah chased a car under the excuse that it was carrying smuggled goods. The driver of the car, Bakhtiar Rahmani died on the spot after being directly targeted by these forces.
After the car was stopped and inspected by the agents, it became evident he was not carrying any smuggled goods…
Notably, only in the past few days two young Kurd ‘carriers’ identified as 17 year old Arman Malayi, shot in the Marivan border region, and 19 year old Osman Mahmoudian, who was shot in the Sardasht region were killed by security forces. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Aug. 7, 2011)
