Turkish warplanes keep bombing South Kurdistan

According to the latest news the Turkish warplanes have once more time began to bomb Qendil Mountains in the Kurdish Federal Region.

The warplanes have been bombing Qendil Mountains since 9.20 am. In particular Kozine village is reported to have been hit.

According to Firat News Agency the Turkish army is in alert state, and all permissions issued to soldiers have been cancelled. In the meantime the EU’s Turkey Civic Commission (EUTCC) has strongly condemned the bombardment which has been going on since Wednesday afternoon.
The warplanes set off from Amed (Diyarbakir) that was followed by a heavy movement of soldiers in the area. It is reported that the reason for the bombardment is the killing of 11 soldiers in Hakkari on Wednesday.
"These actions, which only are a hostile, follow up on a number of previous military interventions directed at the Kurds and the PKK strikes a blow against peaceful attempts to help solve the Kurdish problem in Turkey and constitutes a disaster for those seeking the best interests of all of Turkey’s citizens,” EUTCC said.
