Kurdish political prisoner Mr.Kemal Sherifi was taken to hospital after 30 days of hunger strike

MINAB, -- Kurdish political prisoner Kemal Sherifi who has been on hunger strike for the last 30 days fell unconscious of his critical physical condition and taken to central hospital of Minab city.
30 days ago Mr Sherifi staged a hunger strike to protest against the ill-treatment and the horrendous condition of prison.
According to the news leaked out of the prison Mr Sherif had been subjected to tortures and sustained beating while he launched the hunger strike.
Kurdish political activist and journalist, Kemal Sherifi was tried in show trial on 2008 and was charged with acting against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment of which he has served 3 years.
