A Mass grave of 900 bodies was found in iraq, belives to be bodies of kurds killed by Saddam hussiens regime in Iraq

Iraqi authorities uncovered a mass grave with 900 corpses near the central city of Diwaniyah on Wednesday. It is believed that the corpses belong to Kurds killed during the rule of ousted dictator Saddam Hussein, reports ANF.

The mass grave located in the Shanafiya region, 70 kilometres (45 miles) west of Diwaniyah.

The remains were transferred to laboratories in the city of Najaf to find out their identifications.

Last April, Iraqi authorities said that they found another mass grave in Anbar province of western Iraq containing more than 800 bodies, including women and children, executed during Saddam's regime.

Between 300,000 and 1.3 million people missing since Saddam came to power in 1979, according to various sources.
